On Thursday July 25, The Jonas Brothers brought their World Tour to PNC Bank Arts Center. I have never covered them before, so I made my way down to PNC to shoot the show. The place was absolutely packed with their die hard fans- young girls screaming in home made t- shirts were everywhere.
They brought the pop group Karmin along for support. Karmin, which is made up of Amy and Nick, were youtube sensations, before taking over the radio last summer with a few of their hits. They obviously had a lot of fans in the crowd.
Before taking the stage I was giving a tip that a couple of the Jo Bros would be entering from the isle and make their way to the stage from there. Security started getting a little crazy, fans started getting excited, and I positioned myelf to hopefully capture some of that. I got lucky and I picked the right isle; before I knew it Kevin Jonas was making his way towards me through thousands of outstretched hands. He made his way to the stage while his brother Joe made his way through the other isle, and then the show was off and running.
A Jonas Brother's show is a full on production, and they didn't skimp out at PNC. Background singers, multiple guitars, LED screens- they did everything possible to make sure everyone from front to lawn had a great night.
